One Windows Central staff member had two faulty controllers - with a third on the way. Hiccups are natural for any new product launch, although they're only further emphasized by a variety of problems against that premium $180 price tag. Like the original Elite, quality appears to be a mixed bag, as a mega-thread of disgruntled buyers hits the Xbox One subreddit, while some report flawless hassle-free experiences. Xbox Elite Series 2 buyers have taken to the web to share their frustration, reporting out-of-box issues with Microsoft's latest design. Don’t let the sleek design and high price fool you into thinking it’s a superior controller.Source: Windows Central (Image credit: Source: Windows Central)

I know a lot of people love the controller, but I find it to be awful both performance wise and durability wise. What I’m trying to say is save yourself the time and ditch the series 2. And it just felt more comfortable to aim on. that I tried it always felt off.Īfter a year and a half and 3 different elite series 2 controllers (warranty replacements when they broke) I tried my standard Xbox controller again. I figured I was probably headcasing, but no matter what settings, stick tensions, radial vs axis, etc. It always felt off for some reason, but I could never pinpoint what it was exactly. I used the elite series 2 for a year and a half. I don’t know what it is, but my aim is drastically worse on it compared to a standard series X|S controller. Has anyone else noticed this? Is this just a halo infinite issue? Any fixes? I just find it annoying that a controller as expensive as the elite series 2 would have such noticeable input lag.ĭude the elite series 2 has a fundamental flaw. I’ve tried updating the controller and even reverting the firmware as others have recommended that an older firmware is more responsive ( ). It doesn’t matter if the elite series 2 is wired or wireless, it still feels delayed when I press any button or move my sticks (it’s not an axis independent issue either btw). Both the series x and powera controllers feel significantly more responsive. When I switch to the elite series 2 after using the stock series x controller or powera controller I immediately sense the lag.
#XBOX ELITE SERIES 2 INPUT DELAY PC#
At first I wondered if it was just on the series x but I’ve noticed it on pc too. Idk if I’m going crazy or what but I feel like the elite series 2 controller has significant input lag.
